Hard as it is to believe, Instagram isn’t just for sharing blurry festival photos or your McAffogatos. The platform was interested in showing how its aspirational users discover luxury travel destinations, peep the latest designer fashions and shop for their next German whip.

 

The inspiration destination

 

Working with the team at Beyond Digital, we conducted interviews with marketing executives at Bentley, Burj Khalifa, Christian Dior, Porsche and Louis Vuitton, to name just a few. Rolling into production, we combined their unique insights with Instagram data and independent research on the luxury market to produce a 36-page report showing why Instagram is the inspiration destination.

The report landed on the desks of some of the most influential decision-makers in the luxury industry. It also has a digital afterlife on the Instagram website right this way.
